This has been a drill/test of the JCAlert system. The responsibility of Juniata College Public Safety is to ensure that Juniata College is prepared to respond to, recover from and mitigate against the effects of a wide variety of disasters that could adversely affect the health, safety, and /or general welfare of its students, faculty, staff, visitors and families.

If there is a condition which threatens the health and safety of persons on campus, college officials will warn and convey information to the campus community using this and other methods. If this was an actual emergency the JCAlert would detail emergency information and instructions.

There is no emergency at Juniata College. The campus is not under duress and all operations are functioning normally.
